Faster For Foster Trail Run : April 17, 2027
The event is a trail running fundraiser at Preservation Park in Thompson's Station, TN, supporting New To You, Inc., a local 501(c)(3) that provides clothing, diapers, personal items, furniture and trade school tuition for foster children in middle Tennessee. One hundred percent of event proceeds go to helping foster children. Foster children and foster families may register without charge; the event uses an honor system for that designation.

Both races take place on park trails. There is no race day registration. Packet pickup is offered at Fleet Feet Cool Springs (545 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin, TN) and at Preservation Park (1600 Thompson's Station Rd West, Thompson's Station, TN). The address includes West to ensure correct directions. Parking is on a gravel lot; restrooms are about a 0.15 mile walk from parking.
Course details: the route is marked with orange or pink flags; clustered flags mark turns. The first two miles are grass or gravel jeep road with wide trails and a short out and back near mile 1.25 to 1.75. A water stop and turnaround is located near mile 1.5 where bib numbers will be recorded for out and back verification. The trail section includes a short hill up to the Depot Trail and about a one mile technical singletrack with rocks and roots. Participants should watch footing, keep dogs on leash, and use verbal passing etiquette such as saying on your left.
Awards are given to overall 1st through 3rd place FM and M and 1st place K9 in each race, plus 1st in FM and M for the listed age groups from 12 and under through 80 to 89. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
