Fairview Goat Run / Walk 2026
Fairview Goat Run / Walk 2026 is an annual charity trail event at Fairview Wine Estate in Paarl, Western Cape. The route uses vineyards and the fynbos slopes and upper areas of the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve, with the longer options including a summit of Paarl Rock. The event supports several local charities including Drakenstein Hospice, Daniel and Friend's Fund, Jurie du Toit Autism Centre and Ladles of Love.
Distances offered include:
- 28 km trail run or hike along Paarl Mountain
- 15 km trail run or hike, includes Paarl Rock ascent
- 8 km trail run or hike
- 5 km run
- 5 km fun walk
- 5 km Daniel and Friends wheelchair-friendly class
Entry fees for standard classes are listed per distance, with examples such as R700 for 28 km, R450 for 15 km, R300 for 8 km, R250 for the 5 km run and R200 for the 5 km fun walk. Children up to eight years walk free of charge but do not receive a goodie bag. The Daniel and Friends 5 km class is for other-abled participants and includes a T-shirt for the disabled participant; a companion pushing a wheelchair may enter without a separate entry.
