2027 EOD Warrior 5k & 10k
The 2027 EOD Warrior 5k & 10k is scheduled for June 13, 2027, in Georgetown, Washington, DC, with the course centered on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path near the Potomac River.

Both distances use an out-and-back route on a light gravel dirt road with minimal elevation change. Walkers are welcome and a virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
The event awards series points that count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Spring Series. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. Live results are posted during the event and final results with series points are published after the race.
Water stations are placed along the courses: the 10k has three stations and the 5k has one; Gatorade is available at some stations. Port-a-johns are located near the check-in/registration area. Packet pickup is available at the event and participants are advised to arrive early to complete check-in. There is no on-site race registration for this event.
The event partners with the EOD Warrior Foundation, which provides financial assistance and support to active-duty and veteran EOD personnel, their families, and maintains the EOD Memorial. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in multiple age groups; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards.
