About the race
The Engadin Ultra Trail is a multi-distance trailrunning event held in the Upper Engadin around Samedan, Zuoz and La Punt. The event program covers race logistics, athlete services and community activities across several locations in the Engadin valley.
Four main trail distances are offered:
- 102 km
- 53 km
- 23 km
- 16 km
The schedule includes bib pickup and on-site registration, material control and baggage drop, waymarked trails with route profiles and aid stations, timetables with cutoffs, and race regulations and athlete declarations in multiple languages. Event sites mentioned include the historic village centre of Samedan, the Promulins Arena, Zuoz village centre and the schoolhouse at La Punt Chamues-ch. Supporting elements listed in the program include finish areas, award ceremonies, a concert and family-oriented junior and fun trails. Course information such as route maps, elevation profiles, markings and situation plans are provided, together with a detailed catering plan and procedures for withdrawing from the race.
