Ellicott City Labor Day 10K & 5K

The 23rd annual Ellicott City Labor Day 10K & 5K is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at the Shrine of St Anthony in Clarksville, MD (12290 Folly Quarter Road, 21042). The event is organized by the local Knights of Columbus council and is presented as a community road and trail running event.

The 10K is a road race that runs through western Ellicott City countryside and surrounding neighborhoods. The 5K combines roads and scenic dirt and grass trails on the Shrine property. Both races are USATF certified and will use chip timing provided by Bullseye Running.

Registration is listed at $30 per person or $90 for a family of four. Performance t-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered through August 17. Event-day activities planned by the organizers include music, a moon bounce, and random prize giveaways.

Awards include $600 in cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers in each race. Non-cash awards will be presented to the top three finishers in seven age-group categories for both sexes in each race, totaling 84 age-group awards.
