Eiger Ultra Trail by UTMB : Grindelwald, Switzerland
Eiger Ultra Trail by UTMB is a series of trail races that run around Grindelwald at the foot of the Eiger north face and through the Jungfrau region. Routes travel along hiking tracks and alpine trails, passing First, the Faulhorn mountain hotel, Schynige Platte, Männlichen, Lauberhorn and Kleine Scheidegg, and sections on the foot of the Eiger north face.
Event dates are 14 to 18 July 2027. The programme includes multiple distances and elevation profiles:
- 261 km / 18 000 m+ elevation (E250, UNESCO Trail)
- 101 km / 6 700 m+ elevation (E101, Ultra Trail) : Running Stones: 3
- 51 km / 3 100 m+ elevation (E51, Panorama Trail) : Running Stones: 2
- 35 km / 2 500 m+ elevation (E35, North Face Trail) : Running Stones: 2
- 16 km / 950 m+ elevation (E16, Pleasure Trail) : Running Stones: 1
- 15 km / 800 m+ elevation (Trail Surprise) : Running Stones: 1
- Kids Race with shorter distances
