EHQ Valley Falls 6 & 12 Hour
The event is a timed trail running competition at Valley Falls State Park in Fairmont, WV offering individual and relay options. Distances and formats listed by the organizer include:

The course is a loop of approximately 5.25 miles with about 750 feet of vertical gain per loop. Terrain includes gravel service roads, single track trails, streams, rocky climbs, rolling trails, and waterfalls. The trail will be clearly marked and runs clockwise for 2027.
Two fully stocked aid stations are provided at the start/finish area and the halfway point. Hydration options include electrolytes, water, and soda; food includes a variety of typical ultra running fare and vegan options. Salt caps and a limited supply of disposable cups will be available; runners are advised to carry their own cups or handhelds. Aid will be operated with touchless practices when possible.
Park facilities include one restroom with running water and a porta potty. There are no on-site showers and camping in the state park is not permitted. Personal aid stations and crews are allowed; canopies should not be set up in gravel parking areas.
