Dust 4 Glory Challenge
The Klein Karoo Dust 4 Glory Challenge is an obstacle course race held at Wilgewandel Holiday Farm near Oudtshoorn on 17 October 2026. The course venue is about 2 km from the Cango Caves and is close to attractions such as the Cango Wildlife Ranch, Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, and the Swartberg Pass. The event is presented as a regional obstacle course race in the Garden Route and Klein Karoo area.
The event includes family, school and competitive categories. It is part of the OFSA National Series; athletes must be affiliated to a club and have paid club fees to qualify for national teams or national medals. Limited entries are available per category. Participation supports local charities. Volunteer positions are available.
Distances and categories:
- D4G Mini 1 to 2 km, 10 obstacles, ages 3 to 10, adult accompaniment required, non timed.
- D4G Gr4&5 2 to 2.5 km, 10 obstacles, learners ages 10 to 11.
- D4G Gr6&7 3 km, 10 obstacles, learners ages 11 to 13.
- D4G Medium 5 km, 10 obstacles, 2 water points, ages 14 and older.
- D4G Pro 10 to 12 km, 20 plus obstacles, 2 water points, ages 19 and older.
Course features include climbing, crawling, water, mud, and heavier carrying or dragging elements on the longer Pro course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
