Durban North Ultra Trail
The Durban North Ultra Trail is a loop-based trail event held at the Virginia United Football Club in the Virginia Bush near Durban. Participants run repeated 5 km circuits and may complete as many laps as they choose within a maximum time of eight hours.
Each 5 km loop passes through an event village at the venue. The village includes running nutrition, food and drink vendors, branded activations and family-oriented facilities. The event format supports solo and team participation and is built around completing laps rather than a single point-to-point course.
Available classes and listed distances are:
- The Fun Run: 5 km, one loop.
- The Middle: 20 km, up to four loops.
- The Ultra: 50 km.
The event supports team entries for certain classes, with teams of two participants. Typical age range begins at 12 and older.
