Duchy an Dinas 5
Duchy an Dinas 5 is a third edition, Cornwall MTRS event held on Sunday 11 October 2026 at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery in Lostwithiel. The route is a 5 mile mixed terrain course that is approximately 90% trail and includes over 1000 ft of elevation gain.
The course begins and finishes at the nursery and runs through the valley up to Restormel Castle, an English Heritage site. Competitors loop around the castle, descend into Restormel woods, run out toward Lostwithiel, cross the River Fowey and return across the valley. The finish includes a loop through private woods behind the nursery and ends at the Woodland Terrace Tepee.
The event is currently full; new entries are placed on a waiting list and no payment is required while on that list. Entry numbers and waiting list entries are recorded for the event. Minimum age is 18 years. There is a generous two hour cut off. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and in age categories, with a few spot prizes. All finishers receive a medal. A percentage of entry fees will be donated to Mind Cornwall.
This is a cupless event and there is no bag drop. Parking at the venue is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
