About the race
DoringDraad 2026 is an MTB and trail running event held in Deben, Northern Cape at Doringdraad Kontrei-Kuierplek Deben. The event includes both mountain bike and running classes and is organised by Doringdraad.
Available classes and entry prices:
- 25 km MTB : R260
- 50 km MTB : R300
- 5 km Run : R180
- 10 km Run : R210
Online entries are offered and are noted to close before the event; late entries are available at number collection and on the morning of the event. Goodie bag and race number collection take place at a specified reception on the day before the event and at the venue on the morning of the event. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the DoringDraad restaurant, and the event features a local food item called Doringdraad Roosterkoeke. A prize giving is scheduled the same day. Participants must be able to complete their chosen distance without assistance in order to receive a medal or top-three prizes.
