About the race
The Dolphin Spotter Trail is a trail run and walk on the Wild Coast hosted by Stellantis South Africa at Morgan Bay Hotel on Sunday 27 September 2026. Routes follow coastal trails with cliff-top views and Indian Ocean scenery, finishing at the Morgan Bay Hotel. Available distances - 35 km - 20 km - 10 km - 5 km The event offers a free event T-shirt for entries submitted before 13 September, race medals, full medical support, lucky draw prizes and shower facilities at Morgan Bay Caravan Park. The 35 km race carries prize money totaling over R6,000.
Additional on-site food and refreshments are available for purchase at the Morgan Bay Hotel, including a Build-a-Burger option and toasted sandwiches for 30 km runners at Seagulls Hotel. Entry fees listed for 2026 - 35 km entry R375.00 - 20 km entry R250.00 - 10 km entry R190.00 - 5 km entry R130.00 Proceeds support local initiatives including the Kei Rural Dog Project, Morgan Bay Crèche and other community upliftment projects.
