About the race
Dolomiti Extreme Trail (DXT) is a trail running event in Val di Zoldo. It started in 2013 and now includes seven races that run on mountain trails around Forno, where the DXT Village, the race start and the finish are located. The routes cross forests, rock formations, scree fields and streams, and reach the slopes and peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage area. Five races are UTMB Mont-Blanc qualifiers and races of the ITRA National League.
The event also takes part in the Europe Trail Cup, which awards prize money to the top three men and women in two categories: TRAIL (DXT 22K, 35K, 55K) and ULTRA (DXT 72K, 103K). The organization involves more than 300 volunteers. The Finisher Prize for 2026 was being defined with partners; the prize for 2027 will be announced later.
