DNRT Trail Race

12th Annual Trail Race - 2026
The event takes place at Destruction Brook Woods in Dartmouth, Massachusetts and is a 100% trail race on maintained forest trails. The course uses wide trails and highlights natural scenery on DNRT property.
Distances offered:
- 5K run and walk course through DNRT property
- 10 mile course for runners seeking a longer distance
Walkers are welcome on the 5K course. The start and finish are located at the entrance to the red trail and are described as easily visible. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the running or walking courses.
Entry fees are listed in a range from $25 to $45. Registration fees support land preservation, open space, and DNRT’s trail network, which provides public access to miles of trails. Participants who register before October 18 are guaranteed a race t-shirt while supplies last. Free post-race pizza is provided.
Online registration closes on November 12 in the evening and on-site registration is available until 10:00 AM on event day. Organizers request that participants check in and pick up bibs before the on-site registration cutoff to assist with scoring and parking logistics.
