Demi-Marathon Opti-jeunesse de Farnham
The Demi-Marathon Opti-jeunesse de Farnham takes place at the Centre de la Nature de Farnham, 1400 rue Yamaska Est, Farnham QC. Routes run through rural settings near the town and offer scenic views.
The event features several distances for running and walking:
- 1 km
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km
Several distances include a cani course option for participants who run with a dog. Water stations for dogs are provided along the route. Volunteers are present to support participant safety and well being.
Participation medals are planned for all entrants, with additional medals for the top three in each distance and medals for canine participants. The medals were created by an artist.
For the 2026 edition, a limited promotional item is listed: a tubular neck gaiter will be given to the first 50 registrations on distances of 5 km and above. As of July 20, 2026, 122 participants were registered, distributed across distances for example 47 in the 21.1 km, 33 in the 10 km and 22 in the 5 km.
