Dead Last Ultra at Waters Farm

Dead Last Ultra is a backyard ultramarathon and festival held at Waters Farm in Sutton, Massachusetts. The ultramarathon follows a single 4.167 mile loop run once each hour on the bell; the event continues until only one runner remains. The field is capped at 150 entrants.

The course runs through pasture and woodland with sections alongside Lake Manchaug. The loop surface includes trail and farm road; runners repeat the same circuit every hour.

The weekend includes a community 4.2 mile Out to Pasture run and a free kids fun run, alongside a daytime festival with live music, food trucks, hay rides, farm animals on the grounds, guided farm tours, and the farm store. The kids run uses a shorter loop and includes a junior patch.

Entry options and prices are published for the ultramarathon, the 4.2 mile run, and festival admission; the ultramarathon entry includes a finisher tee and race-day festival access. The final remaining ultramarathon winner receives a single custom buckle; other finishers receive an event shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
