Course and Location

Cupid's Gauntlet is a trail race held at Dana Peak Park on the north shore of Stillhouse Hollow Lake in Harker Heights, Texas. The course uses trails that ascend and descend rocky terrain, hugging the lake shore. Runners will climb several peaks, offering views of the lake.

Distances and Rules

The event offers four distances:

  • 60K
  • Marathon
  • Half Marathon
  • 10K

All participants are required to carry a hydration device, such as a water bottle or hydration bladder. The cutoff time for the 60K distance is 14 hours.

Park and Camping

Park entry for the event costs $5 per car, and carpooling is recommended. Primitive car and tent camping is allowed on-site.

Registration Policies

If a runner cancels more than 30 days before the race, they receive 100% race credit for a future Blaze Trails Running event. Cancellation between 30 days and two weeks prior results in 50% race credit. No refunds or transfers are allowed within two weeks of race day. Credits must be used within one year.
