About the race
The Columbia Csákvár ECO Trail is a trail running event held in Csákvár, Hungary, on 18 October 2026. The event emphasizes a low ecological footprint and simple organization that focuses on the running experience in the autumn forest of the Vértes southern hills.
Three distances are offered:
- 21.05 km half marathon with 468 m elevation, one aid station at about 14 km and another in the finish area; mostly easy, runnable terrain with the last three kilometers on asphalt.
- 12.8 km 13k Up&Down with 302 m elevation, an out-and-back route with about 1 km of steeper section and aid stations at the turnaround and the finish.
- 5 km out-and-back with 43 m elevation on very easy, runnable terrain and an aid station only at the finish.
Field limits apply to each distance. Entry fees vary by date with three pricing periods. Race services include marked routes, chip timing, result lists, finish medals, refreshments at aid stations and finish, medical presence, changing rooms, baggage drop, and race photography. Mandatory equipment includes a switched on mobile phone and identification. Disposable plastic cups are not provided for environmental reasons.
