Costumed Creature Crawl 5K Trail Run/Walk
The event is a costume 5K trail run and walk presented by RAISE Your Hearts to raise awareness for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. It takes place at the Van Scott Nature Reserve of the Delaware Highlands Conservancy in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania on October 31, 2026.

- 1.5 Miles
- Open distance for crawlers ages 0-5
- Virtual 3.1 Miles option
Along the route there will be water stations and first aid. Participants are encouraged to use reusable water bottles. Dogs are not permitted on the trails and the trails are not stroller friendly, so attendees are asked to bring baby or hiking carriers as needed. Organizers request family and trail friendly costumes; scary masks and weapons are not permitted.
A costume contest will award prizes in six categories: Funniest, Cutest, Most Creative, Most Adorable Duo, Best DIY Costume, and Best Group Costume for teams up to four. In-person registration includes entry, a T-shirt, and a medal for the first 50 in-person registrants, plus light refreshments and access to community activities after the event. Virtual participants can upload photos or videos, submit race times, and complete virtual challenges; T-shirts and medals are available to in-person participants only. Participants who raise $250 or more receive an embroidered Costumed Crawl sweatshirt as a thank-you. Volunteers are requested to support event setup and operations.
