Cornbelt Running Club 24 Hour Run
The Cornbelt Running Club 24 Hour Run is a timed track event held over a 24 hour period in Davenport, Iowa at 3560 N Brady St. Registration opens September 24, 2026 and closes March 31, 2027; the field is limited to 60 runners and the registration fee is $120.00. Proceeds benefit the CBRC Children's Running Programs.
Participants are counted by volunteer lap counters and race numbers must be displayed to assist with lap timing. Lap direction changes after the first four hours and then every three hours; runners should finish the lap they are on when the change occurs and then reverse direction as directed. Lap counters generally work three hour shifts, and runners are encouraged to check in with a new counter when shifts change. Any lap count concerns should be raised with the lap counter and the lap counter supervisor during the race.
The event is "go as you please": running, walking, and crawling are permitted, but no mechanical assistance is allowed. Runners may leave and return to the track but must notify their lap counters when doing so. The race provides water and some supplies, while participants remain responsible for their own handlers and aid. Gatorade is designated as the official drink. Restroom facilities are located within about 70 feet of the track. Awards include a trophy or hourglass for the overall male and female winners, plaques for runners over 100 km, and T shirts for all entrants. Winners are the male and female with the most miles within 24 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
