Copper Harbor Trails Fest, September 4 to 6, 2026
Hosted by the Copper Harbor Trails Club in Copper Harbor, Michigan, the Orbion x Copper Harbor Trails Fest is a three-day, all-ages event over Labor Day weekend. The festival centers on mountain bike competition across multiple disciplines, a 10K trail run, live evening music, and several community activities.
Race formats listed for the weekend include cross-country (including long XC), downhill, enduro with sport, expert, and beginner classes, and junior mountain bike races. The King and Queen of the Mountain title requires participation in Expert Enduro, Long XC, and Downhill; standings are determined by summing each racer’s placings with the lowest combined score winning and time used only as a tie breaker. The Beast Mode award is given to one man and one woman who complete the festival’s four top events.
Event programming includes awards ceremonies, a raffle, an ArtBike opening, a farm-to-trail dinner and a movie in the park, and beverages served at Donny Kilpela Memorial Park. Volunteer roles support race operations and come with benefits such as weekend music access, a festival t-shirt, and food and beer ticket. Course details and race results are published by event organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
