Commando Series - Hever Castle

The Commando Series at Hever Castle, Kent takes place on Saturday 10 October 2026 and presents a military inspired obstacle mud run across the castle grounds. The course options recreate elements of Royal Marines Commando training and include obstacles that are exact replicas from the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre at Lympstone.
Distances on offer:
- 3K course for ages 7 and above
- 6K course with 26 obstacles for ages 8 and above
- 12K course for ages 16 and above
Age and accompaniment rules are specified: the 12K and adult 6K entries require participants to be 16 or older; the junior 6K is for ages 8 to 15; the 3K is for ages 7 and above. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult at a 1 to 3 ratio, and when purchasing tickets for 7 to 10 year olds an adult must also purchase a 3K ticket to accompany them.
Published entry prices include adult 12K £100, adult 6K £80, junior 6K £45, and 3K £40. A Gold ticket upgrade is available for £30 and adds a 21 lb kit requirement, webbing and a wooden rifle, a hot ration pack on finish, and a 2 hour survival experience. The event village offers attractions for spectators including a climbing wall, live music, a bar, and access to the historic castle grounds.
