Cline Buttes - Last Person Standing, Redmond OR
This event is held at Cline Buttes near Redmond, Oregon and offers multiple timed-distance events on a loop course. The course is a 3.1 mile loop that runners repeat for their chosen time-duration event. The loop includes a 0.4 mile climb gaining about 800 feet to the top of Cline Butte, followed by a downhill return to the start/finish area.

Last Person Standing runners start a loop at the top of each hour and must return to the starting corral at the top of the hour to continue; the event continues until one runner remains. Winners in male, female, and non-binary categories receive $150 each. The 5k consists of a single loop starting with the other events.
One aid station is located near the start/finish and supplies foods (snacks and more meal-type foods later), beverages (including electrolyte drinks and broths), and miscellaneous supplies such as feminine hygiene products, vaseline, first aid items, sunscreen, and bug spray.
A portion of proceeds supports the Mountain View High School cross-country team. Native American and Indigenous runners receive free registration for any race; individuals 18 and under receive specified youth discounts and a separate waiver applies. Registered athletes who become pregnant or are postpartum may rollover race credit to a future year; otherwise refunds and bib transfers are not provided.
