Climb for a Cure - Sugarloaf Charity Summit
Climb for a Cure is a moonlit ascent where participants may snowshoe or skin up Tote Road to Bullwinkle's. The route is approximately 2 mi round trip. Registered participants meet at the SuperQuad to prepare for the climb and then proceed together along the trail to the summit area.
Participation requires online registration in advance and a minimum donation of $25 per person, with a reduced minimum of $10 for ages 12 and under. Climbers under 18 must have a waiver signed by an adult. Snowshoes or skins are required; walking without such equipment is not allowed.
At Bullwinkle's participants have the opportunity to reenergize with treats and hot beverages before descending. The event takes place at night, so participants should bring a headlamp or flashlight, plenty of water, and warm layers. Rental snowshoe equipment is available at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
