About the race
The Clear Creek Ultra is a loop-based trail event held on private trails in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The course is a single-track, one-mile loop with creek crossings and hills. Runners repeat the loop as many times as they choose within the event time limit.
An aid station at the start/finish provides water, Tailwind sports drink, and food. Participants are encouraged to set up and use their own personal aid at the start area. A race clock will be available at the start/finish, and each runner is required to track their own number of loops and self-report final results into UltraSignup.
Registration is a flat fee of $25, which covers food, drink, toilets, camping space, and other basic amenities. No t-shirt, place awards, or typical race swag are provided. Refunds, transfers, and deferrals are not offered.
Camping and parking are available at the start/finish area. These are private trails; visitors should have the property owner’s permission before a test run. The event also ties into the MUTS Grand Slam designations: a 50k is required for Ultra/Big Dogs and one lap qualifies for Puppy Dogs.
