About the race
The CIEL Ferney Trail is an annual trail running event held at La Vallée de Ferney. The next edition is scheduled for 12 September 2026. The event offers multiple race distances that run through the nature reserve and varied terrain, including river crossings, muddy paths and steep sections.

- SunLife 5 km : suitable for participants from 6 years old; elevation gain 54 m.
- CIEL 10 km : for participants from 12 years old; elevation gain 400 m; part of the League Trail short category.
- BANK ONE 18 km : for participants from 16 years old; elevation gain 600 m; part of the League Trail long category.
- C‑Care 35 km : for participants from 18 years old; elevation gain 1500 m; part of the League Trail long category.
The 5 km course emphasizes a fun experience and access for younger participants. The longer distances are described as technical or mountainous, passing dense foliage and offering panoramic views of the south east lagoon. Registration opens on 4 May 2026.
