6th Annual Christy Bilby Memorial Fun Run
The Albany Christmas Committee presents the 6th Annual Christy Bilby Memorial Fun Run on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Albany Golf Club, 1100 Golf Course Drive, Albany, IN 47320. The event is an in person community run and walk.
The run honors Christy Bilby, an Albany teacher who founded the Albany Pumpkin Dash to raise money for Christmas gifts for children in the local community. After her passing the event continued as a memorial fun run to support the same fundraising purpose.
The course is approximately 2 miles and is open to runners and walkers. An auction takes place before the run; attendees can purchase raffle tickets and place them in jars for specific items. Volunteers draw a winner from each jar during the race, and participants can check results after they finish.
Registration by October 3 guarantees an event T-shirt. The event listing notes that no refunds are available. The organizer is the Albany Christmas Committee and the event takes place at the Albany Golf Club in Albany, Indiana. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
