Event details
The event takes place on Saturday 05 September 2026 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2JG. Runners may enter either the following distances:
- Half marathon
- Marathon
Entry fees are listed as £31.50 for affiliated runners and £33.50 for unaffiliated runners. Places are strictly limited. Medals are provided to all finishers, and all participants, whether attending the event or running virtually, will receive a free giveaway medal or memento.
Course and rules
The route runs along the River Thames from Walton on Thames towards Hampton Court and back. Runners complete either 4 laps for the half marathon or 8 laps for the marathon. The course is an off road trail on a riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss. The route is accurately measured and UKA certified. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
