Chewacla Cha Cha: Chewacla State Park, Auburn AL
Chewacla Cha Cha is a trail running event on Sunday, September 13, 2026, held at Chewacla State Park in Auburn, Alabama. The Southern Singletrack Trail Series organizes the event, which benefits Valley Rescue Mission. The race takes place on wooded singletrack trails with gentle elevation changes and scenic views.

The event uses staggered waves at the start to manage runner flow. Awards are given to overall male and female winners in each distance. Aid is provided by one on-course station and one finish station offering water, CeraSport, and individually wrapped snacks such as pretzels, chips, fruit chews, and candy. Runners are advised to bring their own water.
Registration fees vary by distance and by date, with guaranteed T shirt size available until August 30, 2026. After August 22, 2026, higher entry fees apply. No transfers, refunds, or deferments are allowed. A $4 park day use fee per person is payable at the park gate and is not included in registration. Limited race day registration may be available.
Carpooling is encouraged to reduce park congestion. Organizers reserve the right to remove participants from the course for signs of dehydration or distress. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
