Chattooga Belle Farm Wine Run 5k
This event is a chip timed 5k run/walk held at Chattooga Belle Farm in Long Creek, SC. The course starts and finishes at the winery and runs mostly on grass through vineyards in a cross country style. The route includes some significant hills and offers distant mountain views.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine at the finish. Packet pickup is available on race day only.
The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each category. Age categories are divided in roughly 10 year spans: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & Over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for an age group award. Results are posted online; top finishers should visit the registration table to collect awards. Age group awards are available only the day of the event and will not be shipped.
The event partners with Mountain Sprouts Learning, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving children and families in upstate South Carolina. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but not a wine glass or a glass of wine. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Walking is allowed.
