Champlain Bridge 5K
The Champlain Bridge 5K is a community run and walk at Crown Point State Historic Site in Crown Point, NY. The main event is a scenic 5K cross-country course that combines trails, roads, and fields. The course is presented with symbolic references to a lighthouse as a beacon of hope and a bridge as a connection to education and support.
A companion 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk uses part of the same cross-country course. Awards are available to 5K participants only. The event supports an online safety awareness effort with the Prevention Team/Safe Harbor Essex County and links to the NYS Parks Wellness Challenge, themed Get Offline, Get Outside.
Registration is open with an entry fee of $25 and a scheduled increase to $30 after September 1, 2026. The event is described as family friendly; youth age 15 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver or responsible adult for the entire event.
