About the race
Cave Run is a trail running event held on Sunday 1 November 2026 at Naracoorte Caves National Park in South Australia. The course runs through bushland within a World Heritage-listed landscape on the Limestone Coast.
The event offers four course distances, each following marked trails through the park:
- 5 km welcoming start for runners, walkers and families
- 15 km a substantial trail experience to settle into the landscape
- 23 km a longer course for more time on varied terrain
- 42 km the full Cave Run distance through the World Heritage-listed landscape
Event materials include information on locations, parking and facilities, a participant guide covering equipment, safety and course marking, and directions for getting to Naracoorte Caves National Park. Entries for the 2026 event are noted as opening soon. The event is presented as a single-day trail running program set within the national park and its surrounding bushland.
