Case Creek Tails on Trails Fall 2K & 5K Run / Walk
This event takes place on September 20, 2026, at 7625 120th Avenue in Coal Valley, Illinois. It offers organized trail distances that include options for people running or walking with their dogs. The event is described as a fun run and will not be timed; participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace.

Some proceeds will be donated to Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter. Safety and conduct rules for dogs are specified: dogs must be leashed by a participant aged at least 16, no retractable leashes, leashes not longer than 6 feet, no dogs under six months, no females in heat, and no aggressive dogs. All dogs must be current on vaccinations. Participants are asked to bring waste bags, keep distance from unfamiliar dogs, and not allow children to pet unfamiliar dogs.
