Carpe Diem - Carpe Noctem Half Marathon and 10K
This event takes place on September 12, 2026 at Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, North Carolina. It offers in-person trail race and ruck options plus virtual choices, with multiple single and double-distance formats on the same day.
Available race formats include morning-only, evening-only, and double entries that combine a daytime and a nighttime effort. Distances offered include:
- 13.1 miles half marathon
- 10K single
- 26.2 miles double half marathon
- 20K double 10K
- 19.3 miles mixed double combinations
There are separate categories for running events and ruck events at 10K and double 20K distances. Economy entries omit the race shirt and finisher medal and have later registration deadlines. Virtual options allow participants to complete the distance on their own course and submit a finish time; race packets for virtual entrants are mailed after race day.
Registration opens December 1, 2025 for all options. In-person standard entries generally close February 15, 2026, economy entries close May 15, 2026, and virtual entries close September 10, 2026. Evening races may take place after dark; participants should plan to use personal lighting such as headlamps or flashlights as needed.
