Cannonball Run : April 9 to April 11, 2027
Cannonball Run is a trail running event at Broxton Bridge Plantation in Ehrhardt, South Carolina, presented by The Foot Store and managed by Palmetto Ultras. The event offers a looped course and both a 34 hour race and a Last Man Standing format. Youth registration is available for runners 14 and under.
The course is a 3.3-mile loop that combines dirt roads, double-track trail, and maintained grassy sections, with about 49 feet of elevation gain per loop and minimal technical obstacles. The loop returns to the start/finish area each circuit, where a single aid station will be located and stocked with typical race snacks and drinks including water, sodas, coffee, PBJ, chips, pretzels, gummy candy, and electrolyte mix. Food will be cooked on site throughout the weekend; Friday dinner is on participants' own. Runners and volunteers receive meals at no charge; additional meals are available for purchase.
Camping is included for all entrants with access to a bathhouse and hot showers. RV sites and on property bed and breakfast rooms are available through the Broxton Bridge facility; nearby towns Ehrhardt, Hampton, and Walterboro provide additional lodging options. Packet pickup times are to be determined. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine; refunds are not offered but bib transfers and optional third party race insurance are available.
