Distances
- 5k
- 10k
The course combines paved road and trail. The first and last half mile of each distance are on paved roads. The trail sections have some roots but are described as fairly well maintained without major elevation gains.
Water and support: the 10k course includes three water stations and the 5k course includes two water stations; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located by the ice cream parlor. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, though shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for same day registrants. Race officials post live results and final results with series points after the event; runner tracking via SMS is available during registration.
The event awards the top three men and women overall and first and second place in standard age categories. Points from this race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack Series and the Fall Series. Proceeds benefit Paws for Purple Hearts.
