Bunker Hill Trail Races
The event is scheduled for August 9 at the Bunker Hill area of Gunpowder Falls State Park in the Hereford area. It is a trail race held on mostly single-track paths through the woods, organized as a roughly 4-mile loop. Due to vegetation on the north river trail portion, the course will use the 4-mile loop only and will not include a river crossing this year.
Participants may complete one loop for 4 miles or two loops for 8 miles. Registration is available race morning only.
Parking and access are at the end of Bunker Hill Road; drive to the corner of York and Bunker Hill roads just north of Hereford High School, then follow Bunker Hill Road to the parking lot. The road becomes gravel and rocky toward the end.
