Bubba's Backyard Ultra

Bubba's Backyard Ultra is scheduled for October 3, 2026 in Center Conway, New Hampshire, at 564 Stark Rd. Organizers offer an option to camp on the Friday evening before the event.

The event uses a last person standing format. Each participant must complete the course within one hour and be in the starting area before the next lap begins. The race concludes when only one person remains and completes their final lap.

The course is a 3.5 mile loop made up mostly of forest singletrack with short sections of snowmobile trail, fields, and logging roads. Each lap has approximately 250 feet of elevation gain. A minimal aid station will be located midway through the loop. Organizers note an aim to reach a 4.167 mile layout but have set the course at about 3.5 miles due to trail constraints.

Logistics and extras include an entry fee of $175, sandwiches for Saturday lunch, grilled burgers both meat and vegetarian on Saturday evening with a bonfire, and swag bags for participants. Awards will be given in multiple categories despite the single winner format. A beer mile is scheduled on Sunday, October 4. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
