About the race
The Bruny Island run Labillardiere is a trail running event on the Labilladiere Peninsula at South Bruny, Australia. The course is a clockwise loop that begins and ends at the Jetty Beach campground and covers a distance of 17.6 km.
The route follows a 4wd track along the western side of the peninsula with views across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the Southern ranges. Runners pass Butlers Beach with a view of Partridge Island, then follow a single track along the eastern side of the peninsula back to Jetty Beach. The Jetty Beach campground is available for overnight stays and nearby activities include surfing, snorkelling, sea kayaking and a few walking routes.
Entry fee is $70 per person and the event has an entry cap. Registrations are tracked and the organizer lists a registration closing date of Monday, September 14, 2026. Ferry services run between Kettering and Bruny and can be busy during peak times; participants may plan travel accordingly.
