The event is a trail running and rucking meeting at Ashton Court Estate in Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9JN. It offers both shorter and longer route options on woodland and gravel trails with varied elevation.

The shorter route records about 152 m of elevation gain and the longer route about 201 m. Course features include climbs, rolling terrain, woodland descents and undulating gravel tracks.
There are four participation formats: Pro Ruck (competitive rucking with heavier weights provided: 25 lbs / 11.3 kg for men, 15 lbs / 6.8 kg for women), Pro Trail (competitive trail running with no added weight), Open Ruck (non-competitive rucking with lighter weights provided: 15 lbs / 6.8 kg for men, 10 lbs / 4.5 kg for women) and Open Trail (non-competitive trail running). GORUCK supplies the Rucker 4.0 backpacks for use at the event.
Facilities and inclusions listed for participants include a finisher's medal or patch, winner's prizes for the overall top three men and women in the Pro Ruck and Pro Trail categories, bag drop, toilets, food and drink vendors, photographers and 1–2 water stations depending on distance. Parking details are communicated to entrants closer to the event. Pro categories are subdivided into Open (35 or below), Masters (36–42) and Vets (43+).
