Brent Knoll Race
The Brent Knoll Race is an off-road hill event held on Sunday 22nd November 2026 at the Burnham Association of Sports Clubs, Stoddens Road, Burnham-on-Sea TA8 2DX. The route measures approximately 6 miles and rises about 569 ft in total elevation.
The course leaves the sportsground and follows footpaths, bridleways and quiet country roads before a steep ascent to the summit. Runners complete a half circuit around the top and then descend back to the sportsground on steep, uneven trails. Trail trainers are recommended because sections can be muddy and slippery.
Facilities at the sportsground include toilets and changing, drinks and snacks at the finish, limited bag drop left at participants own risk, and ample parking managed by car park marshals. The car park entrance has a height barrier that restricts vans and high sided vehicles. There are no water stations on the course; drinks are provided at the finish.
Only bone conduction headphones are permitted in line with England Athletics rules. Dogs are not permitted on site. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to age category winners. Every finisher receives a unique medal. Kinisi Run Hub will be present with a stand showcasing and demonstrating trail shoes. Entry fee is £20 with a £2 discount available for those with a current England Athletics registration number.
