Brechfa Trail Races
The Brechfa Trail Races take place in Brechfa Forest and use the Wind and Water Trail by Natural Resources Wales. The event is scheduled for Saturday 13 March 2027 and offers a loop of about 13 miles that can be run once or twice to create the chosen distance.

The route is mostly on forestry tracks with some climbs and descents and is fully marked. Marshals are positioned at regular intervals and aid stations provide snacks and water. The event includes full medical support, free photographs, and a kit check at registration; entrants must carry the required kit to take part. Parking at Keepers Car Park is limited; parking in nearby Brechfa Village is available and a shuttle bus to the venue is included in the entry fee.
Every finisher receives a medal. Trophies are awarded for first, second and third male and female, plus first male and female veterans over 45. The final cut off for all races is 5:00pm. Entry fees listed are £40 for the half marathon and £50 for the marathon, and entries close on 08/03/2026. A GPX file is available for the route.
