About the race
The Inflatable 5K at Brands Hatch, Kent takes place on Saturday 15th May 2027 and features a course made up of giant inflatable obstacles. Participants can choose from multiple lap-based distances and experience music zones and on-course attractions rather than timed competition.
Distances available:
- 2.5k one lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k two laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k four laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k six laps, 90 obstacles
The course is 2.5 km per lap and each lap repeats the same inflatable obstacles. The 5k distance includes 30 obstacles and five music zones are placed around the route. All finishers receive a medal and a finish-line goodie; event features listed for participants include medical care, event photography, a post-run drink and spectator areas.
Entry and participant details note adults are 16 and over and children are 5 to 15 years. Children must take part with a paying participating adult at a maximum ratio of three children per adult. The event does not use timing; running, jogging or walking are all accommodated on the marked route.
Practical arrangements on the day include paid parking at £5 per car, a bag drop service priced at £3 per bag, toilets at the venue, water stationed midway along the route and food and drink vendors on site.
