Boxers' Trail 5K : Philadelphia, PA
The Boxers' Trail 5K takes place in person on September 19, 2026, with the meeting location at 2140 North 33rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121. The event marks the 15th annual running of this community race and walk through the Strawberry Mansion area.
Three event categories are offered: Boxers' Trail 5K Run, Boxers' Trail 5K Walk, and Boxers' Trail 5K Youth. Registration opens June 19, 2026 and closes September 7, 2026. Fees listed for registration are $25 for the run, $20 for the walk, and $15 for the youth category. Registration includes a Boxers' Trail 5K t-shirt. No refunds will be made; proceeds are directed to youth programs at Mander Playground.
The route follows the Boxers' Trail through forests and meadows, over hills, along shaded creeks, and past historic mansions and playgrounds. The trail has a local history tied to boxing training in the area. Event organization is provided by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the Fairmount Park Conservancy, and the Strawberry Mansion community, with support from Philly Races.
