Börzsöny Expressz
Börzsöny Expressz is a forest road running event held on 25 July 2027. The race uses asphalt forestry roads around the event base at Diósjenő, Erdei Szabadidőpark (GPS 47.94913, 19.02135). This is the fourth edition.
Distances and elevation:
- 6,6 km : 204 m ascent
- 14,6 km : 296 m ascent
- 30,1 km : 442 m ascent
Participant limits: 6 km : 60, 14 km : 90, 30 km : 90. All courses are out-and-back with a single turning point and start and finish at the race centre. Chip timing is used on a bib-mounted chip; the bib must be worn prominently on the front of the clothing to record time.
Registration opens 8 February 2027 at 20:00 and is only by pre-entry; entries become valid after successful bank card payment. Entries are limited by the participant caps and an entry deadline. Cancellations must be made by email and entries can be transferred to another participant by a specified deadline; canceled entries may be credited for future events within one year.
Aid stations provide water, sports drink, salt, gels, dried fruit, olives, pickles, cheese, salty snacks and sweets. The event does not provide disposable cups; participants should carry a bottle, hydration bladder or cup. Facilities include a covered race centre, changing rooms, showers and baggage storage. No mandatory equipment. Animals and bilateral noise-cancelling earphones are prohibited. Organizers may modify or cancel the event for safety or weather reasons; in that case fees are credited for future events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
