Boréal X-Country : 25th edition
The event takes place on 7 November 2026 at the Centre socioculturel de l'Île Bizard, 490 montée de l'Église, L'Île Bizard, Montreal. Routes run on fine gravel trails through a boreal woodland.

The 5 km start is on Montée de l'Église near the nature park entrance, about a 10-minute walk from the sociocultural centre. Starts are mass starts; official time is based on the start gun and all runners start at the same time.
The 1 km begins a few minutes after the 10 km at the same start location. The 1 km course is an out-and-back on rue de l'Église. Parents may accompany children if needed. All children receive a participation medal and must be between 4 and 11 years old on race day.
The event is described as eco-responsible with a community atmosphere. Medals are awarded to the top three men and women and the top three in each age group. Numerous sponsor prizes are listed. A buffet and homemade food prepared by volunteers are provided at the sociocultural centre. A themed gift is given to all runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
