Bloomfield Backyard Ultra
The Bloomfield Backyard Ultra is a last person standing endurance race held on November 28, 2026, with race operations based at Bloomfield City Park in Bloomfield, Kentucky. The event uses a repeating loop of 4.167 miles that starts and finishes at the park; runners must complete each loop within the hour and return to the start line to begin the next yard.
There is no predetermined finish distance. The race continues until only one runner remains able to complete the loop. Runners may aim for specific cumulative distances such as 25 miles, 50 miles, or 100 miles, or stop whenever they choose.
The course follows the same paved loop through the heart of Bloomfield and returns to race headquarters. The route is not closed to traffic, so participants are responsible for following traffic laws and remaining alert at intersections and road crossings. Organizers may make slight course modifications before race day for safety or logistics and will communicate changes to registered runners.
