About the race
The Saskatoon Road Runners present the Blackstrap Trail Race at Blackstrap Provincial Park in Dundurn, Saskatchewan on October 4, 2026. The route follows forested valley walls below Mount Blackstrap and uses a mix of wider cross-country ski trails and single-track trail.
Distances offered are approximately:

The event is organized as a green, no-frills race: there are no T-shirts, no medals, and no awards. Instead, five draw prizes will be given. A traditional wiener roast lunch follows the run.
Registration is capped at 80 participants; registration will close if the cap is reached. The published entry amount is $15.00 per runner plus taxes and Race Roster administration fees. Members of the Saskatoon Road Runner Association receive a $5.00 discount. No refunds are offered.
Official results, including age-class and Masters subdivisions, will be posted on the organizer's website later the day after the event.
