Björnfrossa Ultramaraton
Björnfrossa Ultramaraton is a 65 km trail ultramarathon held in Gästrikland's bear country. The course has its start and finish at Kungsberget, outside Sandviken, and runs on natural trails through forested terrain.
The event is offered in separate classes for women and men. The entry fee is 450 SEK. Registration closes 1 October 2026.
The race date for 2026 was moved from 6 June to 3 October because storm Johannes felled large numbers of trees along the trail and the course required restoration. The organizer publishes an FAQ with common questions and provides further event information.
