BigHeat CAMP-FIRE
BigHeat CAMP-FIRE is a family friendly weekend trail running festival organised by BigFeat Events at Mill Farm in Lurgashall, Petworth. The event takes place over the weekend of 16th to 18th July 2027 and forms the Fire instalment of the Classic Element Trail Series.
The event offers single-lap trail routes across dusty tracks, sun-baked woodland and open sandy plains, including sections on The Serpent Trail, Blackdown and The Temple of the Winds. The event village at the finish provides showers, massages, yoga, live music, food and drink stalls, firepits and camping facilities.

Camping is available Friday and Saturday nights. A standard camping pitch is £40 and includes access to shower and toilet facilities; no electric hook up is available. Premier camping offers bell tent glamping for two nights at £200 per tent, with bedding and separate toilet facilities.
All runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid and are advised to carry appropriate clothing for changing weather. Routes are marked but runners are advised to download GPX files. A bag drop tent will be available. Aid stations will provide snacks, vegan options, water and flat coke; PH 1000 electrolyte liquid and two PFH gels are supplied on course.
